Iesha Felton Waters is a National Board Certified, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor / Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor / (LPCC/LCPC) with extensive experience supporting individuals and families, through meaningful life transitions. She holds both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Counseling Psychology from the University of Baltimore and has worked across community‑based, school-based, and outpatient clinical settings.
With years of experience as a therapist, clinical supervisor, and business owner, Iesha brings a rare combination of clinical depth, diagnostic insight, and practical understanding of how people change throughout their lifetime. Her work is rooted in recognizing each client’s strengths, competencies, and lived experiences as essential components of the therapeutic process.

She has supported individuals, and families through trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges, drawing on evidence‑based modalities while maintaining an individualized approach. She blends thoughtful assessment with practical, grounded approaches, helping clients build insight while also developing the tools they need to navigate daily life. Iesha empowers clients to move toward clarity, resilience, and emotional freedom.
In addition to her clinical work, Iesha has provided hundreds of hours of supervision to emerging therapists, guiding more than a dozen supervisees toward licensure as LCPCs. Her approach to supervision is grounded in collaboration, clinical rigor, and a deep respect for the developmental process. Whether mentoring new graduates or supporting seasoned clinicians through complex cases, Iesha brings warmth, clarity, and a commitment to ethical excellence — shaping not only individual careers but the broader standard of care within the mental health community.
While founding Waters Edge Counseling, LLC, Iesha concurrently worked as as an Assistant Clinical Director and Supervisor, where she oversaw daily clinical operations, supervised staff, and provided direct care to individuals and families navigating trauma, crisis, and complex diagnoses. This leadership role deepened her understanding of how systems impact healing — and reinforced her commitment to providing thoughtful, individualized care outside of high-volume settings.
